Buskerteers Choir flashmob at Whiteley

Buskerteers Choir are a collection of community choirs that meet weekly and learn choral arrangements of pop and rock songs. We’re on a mission to raise £1m for charity! And so far we have raised an amazing £122,522.91

We raise money by heading out and performing, whether it be busking or putting on full concerts, the choirs just love to sing, and knowing they are doing things to help local charities and on occasion national campaigns makes it all the more fun!

This year for comic relief, we took a massive 100 strong choir to flashmob at Whiteley shopping centre on Sat 24th Feb, this was all filmed and the video will be released at the start of the Comic Relief week. The song we performed was Proud Mary by Tina Turner.

We’re also planning to release Proud Mary as an official single. Last time we did this, the single made it into the official UK singles charts and peaked at no. 22 for 1 week. This year, we’re going for a no.1.
