When are the car parks open and how many spaces do you have? Are there Blue Badge / Parent & Child spaces available? Is car parking free at Whiteley? How much is car parking at Whiteley?
We’ve adapted our car parks to help everyone keep a safe distance when visiting us.
All car parks are currently open. Market Square car park is open only for customers with pre-booked appointments at Market Square retailers.
We have seven car parks, all equipped with CCTV.
Blue Badge spaces are available in the East, Cinema A, Tesco and Market Square car parks. Blue Badge parking is subject to the advertised tariff, although visitors requiring additional time can contact Centre Management. Designated spaces for Parent & Child are provided in the East and Tesco car parks.
The car parks open at 7.00am and parking is free for 4 hours and £2 for 6 hours in all car parks bar Tesco (4 hour maximum stay) until 6.00pm.
There are no restrictions between 6.00pm and midnight, when the car parks close. Our parking machine is located in Town Square.
All of our car parks are monitored by Car Park Plus. Find out parking time limits on our car park information page. Failure to park accordingly may result in a Parking Charge Notice.

Yes, we have three, paid for POD Point electric vehicle charging posts on site, one is located in the East car park outside Harvester with a further two charging posts located outside the cinema in the Cinema B car park.
Charging posts all offer a fast 7kW charge via a Type 2 Mennekes connector. Prices are available via the POD Point app.

All car parks offer 4 hours' free parking with the ability to top-up to 6 hours for £2 (excluding Tesco). Our Tesco car park offers 4 hours' maximum free parking.

We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable visiting us.
In line with government guidance, we are recommending that visitors consider wearing a face covering in our stores, get tested if they have Covid-19 symptoms, and stay at home if positive. More information can be found on the Government website.
We also have other measures in place to help keep everyone safe:
- We have hand sanitising stations available to use, and our retailers are encouraging contactless payments where possible
- We’re asking everyone to be considerate of others and mindful of personal space
- We have enhanced cleaning regimes in place, particularly around key touchpoints

Wheelchair hire is available from the Centre Management offices. ID will be required. Unfortunately we do not offer mobility scooter hire.

Yes. All jobs are advertised on the Whiteley website.

Whiteley Shopping Centre is private property and a popular location for school geography field trips - as such we require all schools to contact the centre in advance to arrange their visit. Please do contact the management team on the details below at least a week prior to your intended visit date to ensure the trip is able to be booked in.
The team will be able to provide information on where to park safely, site rules and supply you with our centre fact sheet and geography sustainability documents.

Any posts that contain threatening, swearing, intimidating or violent language or an incitement to violence or disturbance will be removed. Your profile may also be shared with centre security and/or law enforcement.
3. No promotions or spam. Any unauthorised promotions for third party products or services or infringement of third-party intellectual property, privacy, and/or publicity rights aren’t allowed and will be removed from the Page.
4. Speak the truth: We want to hear about your honest experience at Whiteley but please avoid any false, fraudulent or misleading claims that may damage the reputation of the centre and/or the people who work here.
Our social channels encourage our community of shoppers and visitors at Whiteley to openly discuss experiences in, or directly surrounding, the centre but it should be noted that unless the post has come from our official account, posts and comments do not represent the views of Whiteley.
Our social media channels are monitored daily during regular working hours (9.00am -5.30pm) and we will respond to any direct messages as soon as possible. Out of hours and weekend monitoring covers critical and emergency situations but we will always respond as soon as possible to any enquiries.

Dogs are welcome at Whiteley in all outside areas, and we’ve provided a dog bowl outside our centre management office. You can also take your dog to Starbucks for a free Puppaccino (espresso cup filled with cream with a dog biscuit on top).
The policy within our stores varies, however, and we recommend checking directly to see if they welcome dogs inside.

The centre is easily accessible by bus and train. The 28/28a bus service stops at Whiteley Way and the train station is a 25 minute walk away.

Whiteley is easily accessible by car and located just one mile from Junction 9 on the M27. After exiting the motorway, follow the signs for 'shopping centre'. If you are using a GPS or route finder system, enter PO15 7PD as the destination postcode. We have 1,300 parking spaces across seven car parks.
