How is Whiteley affected by the Covid-19 outbreak?

Following government guidance, many of our stores, cafes, bars and restaurants are now open.

You can find out what’s open here: https://www.whiteleyshopping.co.uk/eatdrinkshop/now-open

Please note that our retailers and restaurants may be working to slightly different timescales for their reopening. They may also be implementing new systems to help everybody to stay safe, so please always check with them directly before setting off.

Some of our cafes and restaurants will continue to offer a take-away or delivery service only for now.

The safety of our customers and colleagues is our number one priority, so you might notice extra measures in place when you next visit. These include:

  • Hand sanitising stations
  • New signage to help everyone keep a two-metre distance from others
  • One-way/ keep left systems to help with social distancing
  • Plexiglass screen barriers at our information desk

Our colleagues have all been provided with suitable PPE such as masks and gloves to help them carry out their roles safely. We’re also continuing with our enhanced cleaning regimes, including regular cleaning of key touchpoints throughout each day.

To make sure everyone can keep a two-metre distance, we will be closely managing our visitor numbers. If we become particularly busy, we may temporarily close access to Whiteley and our car parks.

For more information about planning your next visit to us, including important updates on our facilities such as car parking, click here.
