Hamble Valley & Whiteley Fundraising Group

Are looking forward to raising lots of funds at the event. They will have lots of lovely cards and gifts for sale and will be running a tombola. They will also be joined by Guide Dogs and their Owners and maybe a Puppy in Training

The D’Ukes of Hayling – Ukulele Band (12pm – 12:45pm)

The D’Ukes started up a few years ago as a u3a group on Hayling Island, having grown in number now play at many local venues; where those that have heard them enjoy a lively range of well-known tunes from the 60’s onwards.

They get invited to do gigs in the local community in various venues and very often do fundraising.

One of their founder members, Beryl Standen is a fabulous puppy raiser for Guide Dogs.

They are a very friendly bunch and are looking forward to playing at Whiteley.

10 SHANTY CREW (1:15pm – 2pm)

We are a Hayling Island Group which specialise in singing sea shanties and songs of the sea.

We were formed in the latter part of 2023 and last November we performed for the Royal Navy on HMS Victory as part of their annual Pickle Night celebrations.

Since then, we have recruited new members and have sung at local venues, including The Hayling Island Community Centre and Langbrook Farm pub. Later this year we shall be at Hi-Fest and Northney Farm’s Fun Day.

We make no charge for our performances; we sing for the fun of it.
