We’re going all out this Christmas at Whiteley with a feast of arctic activities and treats for everyone. Visit us on Sunday 18th November between 11am and 4pm for our magical wintery launch, and experience Christmas like no other!

Whiteley Express 

Take a magical trip around Whiteley on our brand new electric land train. Please call 01489 566000 for up to date running times. Tickets cost £2. 

Santa’s Christmas CabinEvery Saturday and Sunday from 18th November until 23rd December, 11am until 4pm.

Grab your scarves, gloves and hats as you step into the Arctic this Christmas for an adventure you'll never forget…Upon arrival, little shoppers will collect their passport to the Artic from our team of  ‘Elf-Artic Explorers’, before stepping through a snow covered wonderland. Once safely out the blizzard and into the Santa’s arctic grotto, they will be greeted by ‘Fran Frosty’ and ‘Sacha Snowball’ with a warm and cosy welcome! In the arctic adventure grotto, kids get to meet Santa, enjoy stories of his arctic adventures and get stuck into icy adventure workshops including:

November 18- Mmmmmm- Gingerbread man cookie workshops.

November 24- Make your own snowman mug (plus hot chocolate to take home!)

November 25- Comet’s Christmas crown making class.

December 1- Santas silent disco and Christmas mask making.

December 2- Elf yourself- kids are turned into little elves with elf headbands, rosy cheeks and elf training certificates.

December 8- Gingerbread Christmas decorations making station.

December 9- Reindeer rookie school- come along to create your own reindeer cards and ears.

December 15- Santa gnome making invasion.

December 16- Santas festive puppet making.

December 22- Christmas Eve Santa milk and cookie plate making.

December 23- Reindeer food and create your own 2019 calendars.

Titan the Robots BIG Christmas Show

 Join Titan for Christmas songs, confetti canons, Christmas jokes and more at 12noon, 1:30pm and 3pm!

Meet Cubby and Rudy

Rudy and Cubby are 1 metre animatronic puppets with sounds and working eyes/antlers. Rudy is Rudolph’s little brother, you’ll hear him coming with his little collar and red reindeer bell. Our Reindeer keeper will take him on hourly walkabouts to meet all of our little shoppers. As our new baby polar bear, Cubby is sure to bring lots of ‘ooo’s and ahhhs’ from those who meet it. North Pole Explorer Noel will bring Cubby out every hour to explore the centre.

The Bouncing Snowmen 

This excitable duo are over 7ft tall and will be bouncing and glowing all around the centre!

The North Pole Porters 

Look out for our North Pole porters, dressed to impress their job is to help our shoppers have the best day possible at Whiteley, give out north pole candy canes and create lots of big warm smiles on icy December days!

  • Car

    Whiteley is located just one mile from Junction 9 on the M27.

    After exiting the motorway, follow the signs for 'shopping centre'. If you are using a GPS or route finder system, enter PO15 7PD as the destination postcode. 

    We have 1,300 parking spaces across seven car parks. For more information about parking, click here

  • Train

    Swanwick railway station is located within a 25 minute walk from Whiteley. There is also a taxi rank located at the station. Details of all connections and further information can be found at National Rail, South West Trains and Southern Railways.

  • Bus

    The First Bus Service operate the no.28/28A to and from Whiteley. The nearest bus stop is on Whiteley Way by Tesco.  Click here for the timetable.

     

Accessibility

Whiteley does everything to ensure that the Centre's facilities and services are made accessible to visitors and employees who have disabilities.

Blue Badge parking spaces are available in the East, Cinema A, Tesco and Market Square car parks in close proximity to the shops. Access from the car parks does not require the use of steps, lifts or escalators.

Blue Badge parking is subject to the advertised tariff, although visitors requiring additional time can contact Centre Management.

All car parks offer 4 hours' free parking with the ability to top-up to 6 hours for £2 (excluding Tesco). Our Tesco car park offers 2 hours' maximum free parking.

Accessible toilets are provided within the public toilet facilities by Market Square.

If any visitor requires additional assistance Centre Management will endeavour to help.

A portable induction loop system is available at the Centre Management Office and will be made available for use anywhere at the Centre as required.

Wheelchairs can be loaned for free from the Centre Management Office by Market Square. Photo identification will be required when loaning a wheelchair, and it is advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Facilities

We have seven car parks, all equipped with CCTV. For information on each individual car park, click here.

All car parks offer 4 hours' free parking with the ability to top-up to 6 hours for £2 (excluding Tesco). Our Tesco car park offers 2 hours' maximum free parking.

You will find cash machines located in Market Square and at Tesco. Both are withdrawal-fee free.

We have three POD Point electric vehicle charging posts on site (one is located in the East car park outside Harvester with a further two charging posts located outside the cinema in the Cinema B car park). Charging posts are FREE to use and all offer a fast 7kW charge via a Type 2 Mennekes connector.

East, Cinema A and Tesco car parks include Parent & Child spaces. 

A petrol station is located just by Tesco for your convenience.

All of our toilets include baby changing, hand wash and hand dryer facilities, all housed within each 'Supercubicle', including two accessible 'Supercubicles'. You'll find them located off Market Square. Other baby changing facilities are located across the Centre within a number of stores, cafes and restaurants.

Services

We understand that many of us lead busy lives, so several of our stores have a Click & Collect facility to make life that little bit easier. Just order online and choose when you want to collect from your favourite store. 

Checking in at Whiteley couldn't be easier with our free Wi-Fi service. Simply access from your laptop or mobile and follow the on-screen prompts.

Please enquire at the Centre Management Office by Market Square for any lost property from the malls. Please speak to individual retailers regarding items lost within their stores.

Whether it's for an urgent prescription, pain relief or you need healthcare advice from a pharmacist, the pharmacy at Boots is open Monday to Friday 8.00am - midnight, Saturday 9.00am - midnight and Sunday 10.30am - 4.30pm.

A Photo Me passport photo booth is available for use by customers. You will find this near our customer toilets in Market Square.
