🎶 Whiteley Summer Sounds – It’s On! 🎶

We’re delighted to announce that Whiteley Summer Sounds is officially going ahead this summer!

Join us throughout the summer for a fantastic programme of live music performing on the Whiteley stage, with local singers, choirs, bands and community groups raising money for great charities.

🎵 Performance Schedule

Sunday 26th July
12:00pm–12:40pm – Sing Now Choir

Sing Now Choir is a modern, welcoming community choir where everyone is encouraged to sing—no auditions, no sheet music, and no previous experience required. With contemporary pop arrangements, year-round rehearsals, and a fun, inclusive atmosphere, it’s a place to build confidence, make friends, and enjoy the joy of singing together

Sunday 2nd August
2:00pm–3:00pm – Angel Jones – Singer and guitarist, raising money for Wildlife Hearts Rescue

Saturday 8th August
10:00am–3:30pm – Guide Dogs Charity Day featuring five local bands and choirs, raising money for Guide Dogs

Sunday 16th August
11:00am–12:30pm – Terry Horne – Singer and Guitarist

Experience the songs you know and love, stripped back to their heart. Terry, from MAFIA, delivers unforgettable solo performances with voice and acoustic guitar, bringing timeless classics and modern favourites to life with energy, warmth, and musicianship. Today’s standout songs and tomorrow’s classics, reimagined acoustically.

1:00pm–2:00pm – Nathan Cannon – Local Singer and Guitarist

Nathan Cannon is a 29-year-old singer and musician from Fareham, who has been singing for over 14 years.  His funky and soulful style is bound to get you singing and dancing. His cover set includes songs from artists such as; Tom Petty, Billy Joel, Elton John, Seal and even Britney Spears. Fun fact…Nathan once supported Eurovision sensation Bucks Fizz on tour in Southampton. 

I’m raising money for MacMillan Cancer Support. They provided an amazing amount of support to my late mother-in-law. I am aiming to raise £500 by October when I run the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London. 

Saturday 22nd August
11:30am–12:30pm – Folks in Harmony, raising money for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance

We are a fun and friendly mixed a cappella choir singing showtime favourites, popular, contemporary, sacred and traditional songs.

Since forming in 2012, Folks In Harmony has developed into a 42 strong, award-winning choir. We produce two annual shows in aid of local charities, and we love to sing at local events and venues.

1:00pm–2:00pm – Abby Davis – Pop, Rock and Country covers from the 1960s to today, plus 90s dance favourites

More performances will be announced as additional bookings are confirmed.

If you’re a musician, singer, band, choir or community group, we’d love you to perform on the Whiteley stage while raising money for a charity of your choice.

Please note:

• There is no payment for performances.
• The Whiteley stage is provided free of charge as an opportunity to showcase local talent while supporting charitable causes.

📋 Before You Perform

All performers must provide:

• Valid Public Liability Insurance (PLI)
• A completed Risk Assessment
