  1. Customise your order at Five Guys

If you’re looking for places to eat in Whiteley, then Five Guys should be firmly on your list.

Five Guys prides itself on making succulent, hand-formed burgers specially to order, served alongside mouth-watering, hand-cut fries.

The menu offers up to 15 free toppings for each of its burgers, hotdogs and sandwiches, meaning you have more than 250,000 combinations to choose from. Combine that with the milkshake mix-ins which offer 1,000 possible combinations and the choice is practically endless.

Whether you want to stick to the classics or go big on the customisation, at Five Guys you’ll always get exactly what you want.

  1. Enjoy a handcut steak at Bar+Block

Bar+Block believes in serving up carefully selected steaks with none of the traditional steakhouse stuffiness.

Each classic steak, which is reared from British and Irish Angus breeds, renowned for their taste and tenderness, is matured for at least 30 days and hand cut to match your appetite.

If you fancy a cold beer or cheeky cocktail to match, check out the extensive drinks menu which now features a whole host of new additions – including low alcohol options too.

 Whether you’re looking for comforting pasta, stone baked pizza, a refreshing salad or a dish from the grill, there’s are a wide variety of dishes to choose from, including plenty of vegan and vegetarian options.

 As well as tasty food, Prezzo offers a range of delicious drinks – with a great selection of cocktails, mocktails, wines and beers to choose from.

Head to Nando’s to taste its legendary flame-grilled PERi PERi chicken dishes and mouth-watering sides.

The new summer menu offers a delicious selection of plant-based options including the Rainbow Bowl, which features spiced grains, rainbow slaw, long-stem broccoli, pickled golden carrot with houmous and a sprinkle of seeds. Yum.

  1. Relaxed dining at Wagamama

If pan-Asian cuisine is more your thing, head to Wagamama and enjoy their incredible new Asian-inspired summer menu, featuring three new hiyashi bowls.

There’s no need to book in advance, so rock up any time and take a seat on one of their benches. With all kinds of rice and noodle dishes, alongside fresh salads and shareable sides, it’s the perfect place for a relaxed dinner with a friend. There are desserts, fresh juices, hot drinks, wine, sake and expertly crafted Asian beers too, along with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.

  1. Sip a cocktail at Baja Mexacali

One of the new additions to Whiteley, this independent Californian restaurant and cocktail bar serves up a traditional mix of Mexican-Californian foods. Its menu includes tacos, burritos, quesadillas, asada fries and churros, alongside classic margaritas and Mexican-style hot chocolate.

  1. Make room for a sweet treat at Kaspa’s Desserts

Satisfy your sweet tooth and enjoy an evening treat during an after-dinner stroll or to round off an evening of retail therapy.

For a scoop or two of gelato, or delicious waffles, crepes, milkshakes and sundaes, Kaspa’s Desserts has an amazing array of hot and cold desserts all under one roof.

It’s time to enjoy shopping in real life again! With a whole host of shops at Whiteley – from H&M, JD Sports, River Island, Next and Fat Face to Joules, Pandora and Seasalt Cornwall – enjoy some late-night retail therapy and stock up on essentials for the summer.

Why not make a trip out of it and bring a friend along? They can help you pick the perfect outfits, encourage you to try on new styles and after the shopping is done, you can grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants here at Whiteley.

Our stores are open until 7pm, and as we’re generally quieter after 6pm, so visiting us in the evening is a good way to shop at a more leisurely pace.

  1. Enjoy a movie

If you’ve missed cinema mate dates, head to Cineworld to catch the latest movies.

After a long day at work, a cinema trip is perfect to just sit back, relax and enjoy the film. With nine screens of pure entertainment and a Baskin Robbins for refreshments, there are always plenty of options available.

If you’re looking for a more unusual way to reconnect with friends and family, then a group activity is one to consider.

Rock Up offers an indoor climbing adventure with 17 incredible climbing walls towering over eight metres. Great for all ages and abilities, the friendly team cater from novice to expert – and everything in between. Visitors are recommended to book online in advance to avoid disappointment and for a faster check-in on arrival. Pre-booking will also save £1 per climber.
